At Oliva Hill, we believe that the family that prunes together harvests together. Our business is operated by a family of entrepreneurs—the Prophet, Morrison, and Utter families. At the helm are Bob and Pat Prophet—Poppy and Grammy, respectively—who live at the grove and take care of daily operations.
Cooperation Across Generations
Bob and Pat’s business partners are daughter Lynnette and son-in-law Craig, who work out of town and come home as often as possible.
When they’re in town, Craig helps the family with all the labor around the grove, from handling the water systems to pruning the olive trees. Meanwhile, Lynnette is the organizer of the family. She is also known for the amazing recipes that we feature on our Facebook page.
Bob and Pat’s grandson Micah and his family are also Paso Robles locals and often lend a hand. Lacey—Micah’s wife—is responsible for our social media and marketing. Their two children, Kailer and Priscilla, pick olives and help the family.
